Collection: Edfords Organic Pork

All our pork products are made from organic pigs raised at Edfords Farm, we are focused on raising native rare breed animals and have chosen to keep and breed Gloucestershire Old Spots and Large Black Pigs.

These breeds have been declining for decades as they are considered inefficient by the commercial pork producers, they’re only suited to slow growth, outdoor living and often produce smaller litters.

This suits us perfectly, raised on a completely Soya Free diet they are fed on a locally produced complete feed and our home grown organic haylage, it takes several months longer to raise them for the butchery but in proves they flavour of the pork considerably.

When it comes to our products we want to make sure you know the difference so we only use natural ingredients, don’t add any gluten and keep it as simple as it should be.
